How do I care for raw denim?

Wash your Blue Delta jeans in cold water on a delicate cycle, then hang them up to dry. Raw denim’s worst enemy is heat. Washing with hot water or drying with hot air will shrink your perfect-fitting Blue Deltas, and nobody wants that. 

Why do people soak raw denim in a tub or put their jeans in the freezer? 

As you learn more about raw denim, you will discover some interesting methods for cleaning and caring for your jeans. Some work well, but others can damage your jeans. If you do choose to venture beyond the recommended methods, give this article a read before you get started. 

How do I break in raw denim jeans?

Breaking in raw denim is like breaking in real leather — wear it, work in it, live in it. The more you wear it, the softer it becomes. 

Will my raw denim jeans lose color over time?

As your jeans mold to you, the raw denim will lose some dye over time. Those unique fade lines are what make them truly yours.

How do I get measured? 

Getting measured for your perfect pair of jeans has never been easier. Visit our Virtual Tailor to get the perfect fit, guaranteed. The whole process can be completed in under a minute from the comfort of your own home, and the results are just as accurate as being measured by a human tailor. Believe it or not, many people even prefer the Virtual Tailor. It’s just that good.

What is the measuring process?

Blue Delta Jeans are a bespoke product. We take up to 15 measurements, then hand-draft and custom-cut a pattern for every client. This personal touch allows us to make a one-of-a-kind jean made just for you (and no one else). 

How long does it take to get my pants?

Good things take time. Your handcrafted jeans will typically arrive about four weeks after you order them.

What customization options does Blue Delta offer? 

It’s all up to you! Our pants are all made-to-order, so we’ll make them however you like. We can do custom, belt loops, custom pocket liners, monograms and more! Just tell us what you’re interested in, and we’ll do what we can to make it happen.
