How do I care for raw denim?

Wash your Blue Delta jeans in cold water on a delicate cycle, then hang them up to dry. Raw denim’s worst enemy is heat. Washing with hot water or drying with hot air will shrink your perfect-fitting Blue Deltas, and nobody wants that. 

How often should I dry clean my pants?

Jeans can be dry cleaned as often as you might dry clean a suit or a coat. One or two times a year should do the trick, depending on how often you wear them.

Why do people soak raw denim in a tub or put their jeans in the freezer?

How do I break in raw denim jeans?

Breaking in raw denim is like breaking in real leather — wear it, work in it, live in it. The more you wear it, the softer it becomes. 

Will my raw denim jeans lose color over time?

As your jeans mold to you, the raw denim will lose some dye over time. Those unique fade lines are what make them truly yours.

What is the measuring process?

Blue Delta Jeans are a bespoke product. We take up to 16 measurements, then hand-draft and custom-cut a pattern for every client. This personal touch allows us to make a one-of-a-kind jean made just for you (and no one else). 

How long does it take to get my pants?

Good things take time. Your handcrafted jeans will typically arrive anywhere between two and four weeks after you order them.

What customization options does Blue Delta offer? 

It’s all up to you! Our pants are all made-to-order, so we’ll make them however you like. We can do custom rivets, belt loops, custom pocket liners, monograms and more! Just tell us what you’re interested in, and we’ll do what we can to make it happen.
