Mississippi Made for Gameday: Blue Delta Jeans and Mossy Oak Unveil Custom Bottomland Collection

STARKVILLE, Miss. - October 1, 2026 - Two Mississippi brands are coming together this fall for a collaboration built around craftsmanship, football and one of the most recognizable camouflage patterns in the world.

Blue Delta Jeans and Mossy Oak will unveil a custom collection featuring Mossy Oak’s iconic Bottomland camouflage during Mississippi State’s home football weekend against Alabama. Mississippi State Athletics is helping the two homegrown companies launch the collaboration in Starkville.

The Dawg Walk Debut

Mississippi State coaches and players will debut custom Blue Delta x Mossy Oak pants during the traditional Dawg Walk through The Junction before the Bulldogs host Alabama on Saturday, October 3, at Davis Wade Stadium.

Developed throughout the offseason, the collaboration combines Mossy Oak’s unmistakable outdoor pattern with Blue Delta’s bespoke design and Mississippi-based manufacturing.

Close to Home

For Blue Delta founders Josh West and Nick Weaver, launching the collection on Mississippi State’s game day is particularly personal. Both have longstanding ties to the university, as does Blue Delta Chief Design Officer Johnson Benjamin, who oversees the company’s patterning and product design.

“This one means a little more to us,” said Josh West, co-founder and CEO of Blue Delta Jeans. “Bringing Blue Delta and Mossy Oak together and launching the collaboration with during an SEC football weekend is an opportunity to showcase the creativity and craftsmanship in our state.”

Handmade in Mississippi

Founded in North Mississippi, Blue Delta has built its business around an approach increasingly rare in American apparel: every pair is individually patterned, cut and sewn by hand. The company employs more than 70 local artisans and has developed a following among professional athletes, entertainers, business leaders and sports personalities.

That following includes former Mississippi State quarterback and NFL star Dak Prescott, who has called Blue Delta his favorite jeans and praised both their custom fit and the fact that they are handmade in Mississippi.

The Bottomland Collection

In 1986 in West Point, Mississippi, Toxey Haas turned a handful of river-bottom bark, leaves and dirt into Bottomland, the first pattern Mossy Oak® ever made. An hour up the road in Tupelo, Blue Delta has spent fourteen years building pants one person at a time. Same state, same stubbornness.

“Blue Delta and Mossy Oak could have been built anywhere, but they were built in Mississippi,” said Nick Weaver, co-founder and COO of Blue Delta Jeans. “Debuting this collaboration in Starkville is special. When those players walk through The Junction in custom Bottomland made right here in Mississippi, people will notice. Every Mississippian grows up a Mossy Oak fan, so it’s an honor to stand beside them, and with Coach Jeff Lebby, a close friend for the last decade, this was a no-brainer.”

Bottomland as the Canvas

The collection brings Blue Delta’s bespoke approach to one of the outdoor industry’s most recognizable patterns. Mossy Oak’s Bottomland camouflage provides the canvas, while Blue Delta applies its custom patterning and Mississippi-based manufacturing process to create pants specifically designed for Mississippi State players and coaches.

The October 3 matchup against Alabama provides a fitting stage for the debut. The game is part of Mississippi State’s 2026 SEC schedule and will be played at Davis Wade Stadium in Starkville.
